There is no doubting that Carpin' On is widely regarded as the greatest carp fishing show in the UK. Each year the show draws in thousands of carp enthusiasts who converge on The Five Lakes resort in Essex in search of all the latest tackle and bait, entertainment of the highest order, not to mention a stack of top-notch bargains. This year's event is taking place over the weekend of 7th and 8th March and, without doubt, is going to be a fantastic affair, so call the ticket hotline ASAP and get your ticket sorted. Under-12s get in free so you can have a great family day out without breaking the bank.

The list of companies in attendance this year really is mind-blowing, and to put it bluntly, you won't find a line-up of companies at any other carp show in the UK to compare with the exhibitor list at this year's Carpin' On show, which includes a host of long established tackle and bait companies, numerous leading French fisheries, some of the UK's best day ticket fisheries, a number of leading tackle shops, plus many exciting new companies that are set to take 2009 by storm.

As well as the number of top exhibitors at the show you will also find more big-name anglers at Carpin' On than at any other show in the UK, and you will even get to meet TV's very own John Wilson! The Carp-Talk Awards

Many thanks to all of you who voted in the 2008 Carp-Talk Awards. Voting is now closed and the entries have been counted. There are some surprising results, but unfortunately, you'll have to wait a few weeks until the Carpin' On Show to find out who's won, as that's where the results will be announced. If you're not attending the show don't fret as the results will also appear in Carp-Talk the week after the show. Keep your eyes peeled.
